Storytime at the Ohio County Public Library is a family affair. At our storytimes, parents, caregivers and children are encouraged to enjoy the story, songs and crafts together. Your child will only benefit from your positive role model of interest and participation in storytime, so sit close, get your fingers ready for the song motions and let's have fun and learn together.

Storytimes are held four times a week:

Mondays	7 PM
Tuesdays	10 AM
Wednesdays	10 AM and 1 PM

Each storytime includes a read-aloud story and also engages children in songs, finger plays, action rhymes, crafts and playtime. Storytimes last for approximately forty-five minutes to an hour, and are geared toward pre-school children 2 years of age and older.

You are not required to register for Storytime, but we do ask all parents and caregivers to fill out an information form in case we would need to contact you regarding a Storytime cancellation. You can obtain this form from the Children's Department office, or you can print it from this website.
